I ordered multiple items for upcoming customer projects.
Two of them were delivered in a timely manner. The third one according to tracking actually made it to my city and then left my city four days later. I contacted whimskel to let them know that my package was apparently lost in shipping and I desperately needed it replaced before I lost my client. I naïvely thought they would send me out a replacement as it’s hardly worth the hassle for $25.
That’s not what happened
Instead, I was asked to call my post office and check on it
And then I was asked to file a complaint with the post office and try to recoup it through insurance. Both of these clearly jobs of the vendor..
Then I was given some excuse about how you have to wait 20 days to file a claim with the Postal Service. That may be true, but a good business practice would be to verify the item is not moving forward through the Postal Service— acknowledge that it is most likely lost —and replace it.
As of today, I’m still waiting for my item.
Hardly worth losing a customer for $25
I will not be ordering again
