We had so much fun with this retailer collaboration. Here’s a note from Lacey & Kathy about Bohemian Wanderer. “At Rescued by Lacey, we’ve always believed that every project we take on carries a story, and this time, the story was deeply personal. When we teamed up with Whimsykel to create a new decoupage paper, it wasn’t just about art—it was about honoring a legacy. That’s how “Bohemian Wanderer” came to life.

This vibrant, soulful design was inspired by Jimmy, a man who touched every life he encountered. To Lacey, he was the ultimate girl dad, always ready with a kind word and your favorite snack. To Kathy, he was a loving husband whose joy lit up every gathering. And to anyone who walked through our door, Jimmy was family. The pineapple in the design is a nod to his hospitality, a symbol of the warmth and welcome he shared so effortlessly.

The elephant, with its bold presence, is a tribute to Jimmy’s love of nature and his dream of taking his family on a safari. Though he left this world before he could fulfill that dream, we chose to carry it forward in his honor. The bright colors and bohemian patterns reflect his zest for life, his love for adventure, and his unwavering commitment to making every moment special.
